Power tools make home repairs and special projects a lot easier. Use them safely so both you and your tool will be able to “work together” again. Remember:

• Do not raise or lower equipment using the cord.
• Do not use staples to fasten a cord.
• Do not damage the equipment’s casing or the cord insulation.
• Inspect power tools before use and check for external and internal defects.
• Remove damaged equipment from service. Get it fixed immediately or attach a dated “do not use” sign.
• Guards should be used on all hand and power tools that are designed to accommodate such guards. Do not remove these guards.
