Cord on power tool isn’t for lifting

Power tools make home repairs and special projects a lot easier. Use them safely so both you and your tool will be able to “work together” again. Remember:

—Do not raise or lower equipment using the cord.
—Do not use staples to fasten a cord.
—Do not damage the equipment’s casing or the cord insulation.
—Inspect power tools before use and check for external and internal defects.
—Remove damaged equipment from service. Get it fixed immediately or attach a dated “do not use” sign.
—Guards should be used on all hand and power tools that are designed to accommodate such guards. Do not remove these guards.
