Edisto Electric Cooperative, Inc. has full time positions available for a Customer Service Representatives in our St. George Office.

Responsibilities include collecting and recording payments received at the counter, drive-up window and through mail, recording and balancing payments, entering data into the computer, processing service orders and answering the switchboard. Must be flexible to learn other jobs within the department. Must have a thorough working knowledge of general office practices, record keeping, computers and of approved methods of receiving and accounting for money. Knowledge of rural electrification and cooperative programs is helpful.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 2 years of increasingly responsible clerical experience to include 2 years of public contact work and money handling experience. Excellent benefits.
